It All Makes Sense

Explainer videos are the go - for businesses, services, charities, education…

Let me do more than just make sense of your explainer video copy. I have a versatile range in a clear, natural British RP accent, and can bring youthfulness and fun, gravitas and age, a resonant deeper voice or light and perky to your copy. If you prefer a more relaxed English accent well, that’s the one my acting teachers drummed out of me in my early teens (but it’s still there!). I also regularly record for my clients in a soft Scandinavian accent, which works well for international audiences.

I’ve worked in many industries, travelled the world and been around a few blocks! I think of this as my library of experiences to delve into and bring to the voiceover I record for you.

Get in touch and let’s discuss your goals for your Explainer video. I’ll happily record a short free sample to nail the right tone before you hit the ‘go’ button.

I’m available by various means for directed sessions. Most clients are happy to sit on a Zoom call and have a preliminary chat, then listen in while I record. Three takes is usually enough to get the exact read they are looking for, with some extra bits ‘for safety’. But if you want to do the recording live your end, we can set up a Cleanfeed, Bodalgocall or SessionLink session.

Whether it’s a whiteboard explainer, a 2d corporate animation or filmed explainer , a professional voiceover brings your video to life. People engage with the right voice - ‘people buy people’, remember?

By choosing a quality professional voiceover with a proper studio for your next explainer, you’ll get a professional result. Great delivery, no background noise, clean, clear, edited and mastered voiceover audio.

For video tutorials, pace matters. The voiceover needs to sound like they are the authority. They are an authority on this product. And they need to give your viewer time to absorb the information, without sending them to sleep!

Pronunciation is vital and a good professional voiceover researches any tricky words in your video tutorial script, or consults with you, the client, to check we’re getting it right before we begin to record your tutorial voiceover.

While e-learning is considered a genre of its own for voice artists, there is some cross-over with explainer videos and tutorial videos. Some e-learning work for voice artists is long courses with multiple modules and learning paths, but there are often requirements for shorter , stand-alone videos or audio files too.

Get in touch to discuss your needs. I’m always happy to record a short sample of your script to make sure I get the tone right before we start in earnest.
